Wayne Lesperance

Dr. Wayne F. Lesperance, Jr. holds the rank of Professor of Political Science and is the Vice President of Academic Affairs at New England College in Henniker, New Hampshire.

Dr. Lesperance is a frequent commentator in regional and national media outlets, where he is frequently quoted on public policy, the political process, and US Foreign Policy. Among his more recent publications, Professor Lesperance is Associate Editor of the two-volume Political Handbook of the World (2017), contributor to, The New Islamic State (2016), and author of “American Foreign Policy and the 2016 Election” in the Journal of Social Science and Modern Society September/October 2016, in addition to numerous articles and chapters in peer-reviewed journals, textbooks and other publications.

Dr. Lesperance received his Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Master of Arts in International Studies from Old Dominion University. His Doctorate in Law and Policy is from Northeastern University.


John Reuter

Term Began: 2018

John is a graduate of the University of Minnesota and earned a BA in Economics and Marketing. He started his career at Coke a Cola and worked for A & W Brands, and Starbucks Coffee. John is currently the owner of NewVo Interiors, LLC, a commercial furnishings dealership. John has two adult children.


Jess Edwards, Vice Chair

Term Began: 2018

Jesse Edwards is a 33-year Army Medical Services Corps officer who retired as a Lieutenant Colonel in 2009. Currently, he is a member of the NH House Health, Human Services, & Elderly Affairs Committee, Vice Chair of the NH House Veterans Interest Caucus, and helps to oversee the budgeting for the Rockingham County Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.  Jesse holds a current commission as a Lieutenant Colonel in the NH Civil Air Patrol serving as the Vice Commander of the Legislative squadron.  He also serves as the Commander of the Fosaith-Drowne American Legion Post (Chester, Post 108).


Barb Brennan

Term began: 2018

I am an Air Force veteran and continue to serve my country and community in any capacity needed. I have lived by my school motto; Integrity first, service before self, and excellence in all we do, every day of my life. Since my commitment to the AF ended, I have volunteered in Hooksett at the schools, as a coach for HYAA, as a parent volunteer for the Boy and Girl Scouts, Hooksett Kiwanis, Hooksett Salvation Army, Hooksett Family Services, and at the Hooksett Community Food Pantry (which I am currently the Chairman of). I am a seasonal town and Election Day employee, and recently was voted in by my community to serve as a Supervisor of the Checklist.


Wallace Miller, Treasurer

Term Began: 2017

Wally earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire while serving in the Air Force at Pease Air Force Base, NH in 1986.  He is currently the President and owner of Compass Benefits, LLC, a Medicare and employer group benefits an advisory company. Wally also spent over 22 years working in the Medical device and Pharmaceuticals industry with such companies as Pfizer and Boston Scientific as a sales professional, a Contract Manager and the Director of Sales Operations. Wally is an Air Force Veteran, where he served from 1984 to 1992, flew 19 combat missions during the first Gulf War and separated honorably as a Captain, Instructor Navigator.  He is married has two children and one grandson.


Deb Hamel

Term Began: 2018

Deb is a freelance political contributing writer and commentator, regarding the First in the Nation NH Presidential Primary. Hamel serves as a Board Trustee & Incorporator at Kurn Hattin Homes for Children in Westminster VT (kurnhattin.org); Past President Keene Lions Club (2nd largest in NH), Granite State Fellow and Current Zone 4 District Chair; Zoning Board Member Marlborough NH.

Deb has served as the Vice Chair of New Hampshire’s State Board of Education; NH Commissioner on the Education Commission of the States (ecs.org)  working with Governors & Educational Leaders from around the Country helping to draft legislation; Member of Christa McAulliffe Sabbatical Committee; Keene Planning Board; Southwest Region Planning Commissioner; Easthampton MA Planning Board; Board Member Greater Easthampton MA Chamber of Commerce; Easthampton Industry & Development Council;  Co-host radio, “The Morning News with John & Deb”, recognized by “Talkers Magazine”.


John Roller

Term Began:  2018

John is a 32-year human resource professional and the owner of Express Employment Professionals & Specialty Search in Manchester, NH, opening in 2004.  Express serves its clients with Temporary and Professional Search services in administrative, technical/manufacturing, and in most professional specialties.

Prior to opening Express, John worked extensively in human resources in both senior generalist positions and in employee benefits management for several large international manufacturing companies.  He is also a 25-year veteran of the U.S. Navy, where he spent seven years Enlisted in both the Atlantic and Pacific fleets, promoting to Personnelman First Class (E6).  He then received a direct commission in January 1987 and spent eighteen years as a Supply Corps Officer in the reserves where he held leadership positions in Defense Contracting, Military Sealift, Finance, Supply/Distribution, and general management.  He retired as a Commander in July 2005.

John graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration (cum laude) from Southern New Hampshire University and holds all major HR certifications: SPHR, SCP, and CEBS.  He is a past-President of the Manchester Area HR Association, a Society of HR Management affiliate with over 200 HR professionals and is a past board member of the Society of Human Resource Management State Council.


JP Marzullo, Chairman

Term Began: 2017

A Graduate of Sacred Heart University in Bridgeport, CT receiving a BA Degree with a double major in Philosophy and History. Upon graduation, he spent over 40 years in the Medical Imaging profession with major Healthcare companies.

While living in Annapolis, MD he and his wife Donna, became involved with the United States Naval Academy sponsorship program of Midshipman. This program has been in place for well over 80 years and it is a way for people in the community to give back and support the future Navy leaders of our country. They sponsored over 14 midshipman many of which went on to became Marines, Navy Seals, and F-18 Fighter Pilots. It was a mentoring program and they were their parents away from home. JP continues to support our military although never having the honor to serve in that capacity both his father and father-in-law were in the Army and served in WWII; his father in the South Pacific and his father-in-law at Normandy.

He is well known for his activism as a political operative and was a Candidate for State Senate in 2014. He currently is serving as a State Representative for Hillsborough Dist. 2 Deering and Weare, and is a member of the State-Federal Relations and Veterans Affairs Committee. He has served his community as a two-term Selectman and is a member of the “Sons of American Legion” in the Philbrick-Clement American Legion Post 65 in Weare, NH
