Operation Empower Veterans
Giving Back to Those Who Gave For Us
November 10 – November 16, 2024
Join us for Operation Empower Veterans, a week-long campaign benefiting New Hampshire veterans who are facing homelessness, post-traumatic stress, traumatic brain injuries, and other major challenges. These veterans stood and sacrificed for our freedoms – now it’s our turn to stand by them.
Every gift, no matter the size, can change the life of a veteran in need. Whether it provides a safe place to stay, a warm meal, or a path to independence, your donation can turn their struggles of today into brighter futures filled with hope and purpose.
Donate Now to Empower VeteransThanks to a generous gift from the Paul Nadeau Family, the first $12,000 raised this week will be matched dollar-for-dollar, doubling your impact in helping local veterans in need!
Your Gift in Action: The Life-Changing Work It Funds
- $75 provides food for Ezra, our beloved service dog who brings comfort and support to our veterans.
- $150 provides a month of home-cooked meals and food for a resident, fueling their journey back to independence.
- $250 provides a night of transitional housing for a veteran, helping them overcome homelessness, post-traumatic stress, and other challenges.
- $500 helps a veteran obtain essential documents like a birth certificate or driver’s license, giving them a fresh start.
- $1,000 ensures our clothing and food pantry remains regularly accessible to community veterans.
Your Support Addresses a Growing Issue Among NH Veterans
Veteran homelessness in New Hampshire rose 12% from 2021 to 2022. For many veterans, their transition back to civilian life is shadowed by post-traumatic stress, mental health challenges and substance use disorders. Those who bravely served our country don’t deserve these dark and isolating lives.
Liberty House is often the last line of defense for these veterans, but we’re being stretched thin. In the past year, we’ve seen a 14% increase in veterans relying on our transitional program and an 83% surge in community veterans accessing our food and clothing pantry. With rising costs and shrinking resources, we can’t meet this growing demand without your help.
You Can Be a Hero For A Veteran Today
Operation Empower Veterans is your chance to help veterans in your community find the stability they deserve. Your support can replace isolation with belonging, despair with purpose, and homelessness with the security of a place to call home.
Our $30,000 goal ensures we can continue providing critical housing and support to those who need it most. This Veterans Day, don’t just thank a veteran – empower one by transforming their life and restoring dignity.
