For veterans at Liberty House, the kitchen is more than a place where food is prepared. It is where nourishment, healing and independence begin.
Years of heavy use have left the Liberty House kitchen in need of critical upgrades. The dishwasher and other commercial grade appliances are on their last leg. The floor needs to be replaced, and the ventilation is no longer working, which means another scorching summer for meal prep in the kitchen.
